Ema was confiscated due to cruelty and neglect. She and several other dogs were left outside in kennel runs filled with filth. Clearly underweight, needing medical care, and safer circumstances, Ema and her buddies were removed from the property. Although Ema began to receive the care and attention she deserved, it was felt that due to overcrowding at the shelter Ema would likely be most successful in finding her forever family if she moved into a rescue. When asked if we could help Ema move forward, MAGSR immediately put plans into place to welcome her to the MAGSR family. 

Ema is a sweet, happy-go-lucky girl. Even though she has survived cruelty at the hands of her previous owner, she still enjoys the company of people. Affectionate and playful, it is impossible to be in her presence without smiling. As Ema has not lived inside a home, the rules and expectations of living in a household will be new. However, Miss Ema is more than ready for a new challenge. As is true of all young dogs, Ema will thrive with structure, routine, and leadership. She is also hoping that her new family enjoys cuddles. Training will go a long way with Ema. Not only will it help her develop a healthy bond with her family, but it will also help her develop into a good canine citizen.
